We have a variety of different things on our gift registry, some of which are very specific (with a “View” button), and others where we will happily enjoy whatever you give in this category! Find something to your taste and budget, and we look forward to seeing you on our wedding day and later in life too! Drop by our house some time and see your gift in action 🙂
Kitchen
Metal cooling racks (2x please!) with pretty tightly spaced wiring so things don't fall through. Intended for letting cookies, cakes and other tasty things cool down on nicely and evenly. Come visit us and eat something good that cooled down on them :)
Silverware, but actually Stainless Steelware ;)
Ideally a ~10x matching set of big spoons, little spoons, big forks, little forks and knives.
Heavy weight, to last a lifetime together!
$420.00
This dehydrator in particular, or another 9-tray from this company. We know this one works.
A simple hand mixer. Speed adjustment is great, pop-out beaters are good for cleaning, but we do not need anything fancy.
This gift literally makes the icing on the cake (and our special day)!
$30.00
We have one of these already, but there are now two of us, so we need to make more cookies!
$450.00
A cookie maker 5000, also known as "KitchenAid 5 Quart Tilt- Head Stand Mixer With Brushed Stainless Steel Bowl". We hope to make far more than 5000 cookies in it to share with you in our lifetime :)
Any simple, cheap toaster for toasting two slices of bread - perfect for the two of us!
Something without anything fancy that looks like it is more built to last is great (a thrift store find counts!)
A matching set of bowls, dinner plates, and desert plates. Bonus points for anything else that matches it. We do not need matching mugs/cups, but it is just fine if they are part of the set.
At least 6 matching, but 8+ is great!
Something simple is fantastic, with white as the predominant colour. If you manage to hit a Dutch colour scheme of a simple blue rim around the white dish, David might kiss you as well as the bride!
A big rectangle for cooking lots of food in.
Pyrex or not name brand - its all up to you, as long as its oven safe!
Why is this normally called a spatula? David is on a crusade that this is a "scraper". Spatulas do all sorts of different things, like flipping, scraping, smoothing, moving, and these different shapes and tools should have different names. Hence: "rubber* scraper".
*The "rubber" is for family historical reasons. True silicone material to be foodsafe with heat is appreciated. Thanks!
Anywhere from a 8-10" diameter is lovely please.
A matching set of two so we can make double the cake in half the time! Much like the two of us becoming one in this wedding, it is great to stack two baked cakes as layers into one final cake.
Not a non-stick material please. Stainless steel is awesome!
Tins for normal size muffins. Ideally a matching set of two so we can bake 24 muffins at a time (double recipes = double the sheer bliss of good muffins).
$350.00
A stainless steel set of nesting pots that will last a lifetime. We need at least a fully encapsulated base, but 3-ply or 5-ply pots also sound absolutely lovely. Something that is all metal, with solid construction is fantastic.
No non-stick cookware please - stainless steel is what we need for it to last (we already have a good cast iron skillet).
We have had good luck with Meyer (they are made in Canada too!), so an example product is linked, but if you find another option that fits these needs that you think is great (from another manufacturer is good too), go for it!
Why is this normally called a spatula? David is on a crusade that this is a "flipper". It flips things. Spatulas do all sorts of different things, like flipping, scraping, smoothing, moving, and these different shapes and tools should have different names. Hence: flipper.
We have a solid metal flipper already, but are looking for one with a silicon end so we don't scratch things like aluminum cookie sheets.
Why is this normally called a spatula? This one flips things, so why not call it a flipper? Spatulas do all sorts of different things, like flipping, scraping, smoothing, moving, and these different shapes and tools should have different names. Hence: flipper.
We have a solid metal flipper already, but are looking for one that has the thin metal on the end so that it is flexible. Victoria says this one "just works better. It is more pleasant to make my eggs with this one" than with the solid metal one. David just doesn't have any experience with this, so he is bowing to her wisdom on this matter.

Torque wrench suitable for automotive work like changing tires. Doesn't need to be fancy - digital or analogue is good.
A 1/2" socket set for getting the job done. Ideally with both metric and imperial heads, but if you only get one set please buy a metric (and we'll fill in by buying an imperial set when needed).
Stop the car from falling on David when it rusts out from underneath the jack! Set of two please to make doubly sure.
Ideally a set of three pliers, but if you can only get one, get one good one and we will be ecstatic! We are looking for three of them please:
1. Pointy ones (needlenose)
2. Snipping ones (wire cutters)
3. Grabby ones (????)
For snipping little things outside.
A quality folding hand saw for stowing in a backpack while running/hiking, and whipping out to help clear a trail.
... And once a year to cut down a Christmas tree!
If you haven't tried these ratchet on one side, open ended wrench on the other, they are the absolutely best for a ton of different workloads. Go get yourself a set first, and if you have money to spare, then get us some!
Ideally with both metric and imperial set but if you only get one set please buy a metric (and we'll fill in by buying an imperial set when needed).
Sometimes you just need to hit something with a hammer.
Sometimes you need to hit stuff with a really big, heavy hammer. This is for those times.

Corded Vacuum
A batteryless vacuum (always plugged into the wall) that SUCKS! Victoria has had good experiences with Dyson, but if you know another vacuum that eats dirt we are happy with that too!
Laundry Drying Rack
A folding, standing laundry rack. The sort of shape in the picture, but we don't have a brand preference. Whatever you think will withSTAND the test of time!

We would specifically like two of these rooftop bike mounts - one for each of our bikes. We know that this particular mount works well for the bikes that we have and is durable and reliable. The last thing we want is a bike to go flying off the top of the car!
Feel free and just buy one, two people can claim this gift (if we set up the website properly!)
$1,000.00
Any universal roof box that's at least 215 cm long (we need to be able to fit the really long cross country skis in). We would be very happy with a used one.
An example is linked, but we don't need something this fancy. Used or cheaper is good :)
$260.00
each
Two kayak roof mounts (buy us one, or buy us both!) so we can go play on the water when it gets really hot outside.
